Tattoo Friendly Onsen ("we", "us", "our") operates tattoofriendlyonsen.com to help travellers find tattoo-friendly hot-spring experiences in Japan.

2 – What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a site. They let a website remember your actions and preferences so you don't have to re-enter them each time you return or move between pages.

3 – How we handle cookies

We've designed our site to minimize cookie use:

• Analytics – We use Pirsch Analytics, which is completely cookie-free. It collects anonymous, aggregated data without placing anything on your device.
• Error monitoring – We use Sentry to detect and fix bugs. Sentry does not set cookies and we have disabled personal data collection.
• Maps – Google Maps on our onsen detail pages only loads when you click "Load Map." Until you click, no connection to Google is made and no cookies are set.
• Affiliate links – When you click a booking link (e.g. "Book now"), our partner Travelpayouts may set cookies on the partner's domain (not ours) to track the referral. These cookies are only set after you click, and at no extra cost to you.

We do not set any first-party tracking cookies. We do not run display advertising or remarketing cookies. If that changes, we'll update this notice before those cookies are set.
